Czech-it-Out Graphics Wrote:maybe this thread should be renamed lol anyone tried the spektrum telemetry system yet?
Someone at my LHS said there is a new spektrum coming out? Is that it? I think he said it is 5.8GHz. What is going to be the difference? When is it going to come out and should I wait until it comes out instead of getting the DX3?
Also with binding the spektrum, do you need to bind it like every new place you go to or is it just once and your done?

there isnt a new one coming out, this is just a thing that will give you temp readings, RPMS volatage and lap times. You only have to bind it once, but i re do it every once in awhile just to be safe

The Telemetry Module at Hobbytown is $184. I'm not sure how many sensors that comes with. If I remember right, there are seperate sensors to read Temp, RPM, Voltage, etc. They then transmit the info back to a small Rx that you would have attached to your Transmitter, so you could look down and see the info.
On the Nomadio system, you can set up different alert tones or vibrations to alert you of problems (Excessive heat, low voltage...) I'm not sure if the Spektrum module will do the same thing.

Today I visited LHR for the first time. Best indoor track I've ever been to, and I've been to a lot! Anyway, I haven't raced in a while (years to be exact), can you guys get me back up to speed on etiquette (sp) at LH. I'm a nOOb alll over again and need the help of pros. Thanks in advance!
