In need a battery pro...

I would guess standard as it's not an OS motor and I'm 99% positive it doesn't take turbo plugs.

MC-9's are cold, those work ok for you? I can't stand them. A hotter plug will advance your timing, you should try it.

Quote:You need a standard 'long' plug (like an MC59)

With running 40%, I've been getting Great performance from the 9's. I think the 59 would be too hot for that high nitro... But who knows, I just may have to try something different.

oh yeah you run 40%, yeah maybe a colder plug would be better for you..lol

Although I have always ran hot plugs with 30% with success.

Wow... confused I am... Gabe I may have you explain this to me at the track. For now if I'm running 30% in the stock 2.5 a MC-59 is good??

It might be worth a try.

yep, I say a MC59 or a traxxas 'hot' plug would be a good choice for 30% in a 2.5

Sorry we went so off topic but consider this thread a dual purpose learning experienceSmile
