Ok when its your first time driving a big block always pay attention to whats ahead of the truck and not sit there with your jaw dropping at the power of the motor. I have to say this is one tough truck for the kind of impact it had. And I break the wierdest parts ever. Thats a screw broken in half that hold the motor down but broke about in the middle of the block so I just gotta unscrew it. Heres some pics. Its a sad day but yet still a good one. At least i know going about wot into an object that moved about 6 inches when i hit it with only this damage is sure sweet.

From looking at your sig, I think you now know that you can't "plow through" a garbage can... lol

At least the damage was minor. Did you check the shock shaft?

Since i posted those pics i completly dissasembled every screw on the truck and have it in 1000 peices right now. Getting ready to put a screw kit in and awaiting the arms to be shipped out. No reason this truck has to be out of commission for anymore then 2 weeks as far as i can see.Early feb for parts release so hopefully friday if not sometime early next week to get my parts in.

What a fun and very well layed out truck. The center brace actually holds the whole thing together along with the chassis so if you wanted all you have to do is remove the screws from the bottom of the chassis and you can remove the chassis. The rest of the truck will still be built and all together. It really is a very well thought out and built truck. Even the motor mount can be taken on and off the chassis without ever loosing were your mesh setting were. Diffs can easily be taken out with a matter of 6 screws for the front and rear, and 4 screws for the center diff so tunning the truck can easily be done.

Parts fit on my truck is very tight. No slack or slop in the steering (tightened the servo saver for this), any suspension component, no slop in or around any bearings. All hex hardware so if your a beginner or just not comfortable taking the whole truck apart you dont really have to worry about purchasing a screw kit. Hardware is very nice and easy to work with. So far the only thing i dont like on the truck is the servo saver. Its way to loose and definatly needs a stiffer spring. But you can just about crank down the stock one and get pretty good steering. Not the tightest of steering but tight enough i think to be able to race with it.

Overall I see no reason why this truck cant be a top competitor for the UMT class. Absolutely no flex at all in the chassis in stock form. Ive broken in my hpi 4.6 motor and this thing seriously rips. I know and so does that garbage can. Just instantly gets up and goes. Its a very easy to tune truck and is work on it friendly so even if your not an advanced rc person you still shouldnt have any problems changing diff fluids or shock, sway bars ect. Once you get the right setup on this truck theres definatly gonna be some new A main competition.

Thats my little write up on this truck so far. Hasnt seen the track yet but has proven to be very tough, and have a really good motor to push it around.

I'm taking mine apart too, not 100%, but close. If you take out the right screws, the whole upeerdeck with electronics comes right off in 1 piece. I like that. That will make cleaning much easier without worrying about messing up the electronics.

I've got the whole front assembly off and dissasembled, checking for loose screws from the factory, and parts fit. Looks real good! I opened up the front diff, and it didn't look like it had enough diff fluid though. I cleaned it out and rebuild it anyway.

Tomorrow I'm inspecting the rest of the truck and changing out the oils in the center and rear diff. Then I'm off to LH on wednesday to test it out Smile.

Hey tune im about to order a complete set of bearings for mine from avid bearings. I looked through the entire parts lay out and counted under 30 bearings. The 2 sizes are 8x16x5 and 6x10x3. You interested in placing an order with me. Theres 18 8x16's i count on the truck, and 6x10 are 4. Im also ordering some revolution bearings for the clutchbell 5x10. Im gonna order a complete set and about 5 extra of each. You want to place an order with me?

Only 2 sizes on the whole truck? I didn't even pay attention. That's great!

What's the cost for all the bearings, including shipping?

i got 32 bearing in my cart just for my truck alone. Theres a few extra of each size. Ive got 6 5x10 revolution clutch bearings, 20 8x16x5, and 6 6x10x3. If you want go through the manual yourself and make sure im not skipping any. on the truck there should be 18 8x16x5 and 4 6x10x3 and only 2 5x10. I think that all but if you could double check that would be awesome. Putting the screw kit in soon so might as well upgrade the bearings as well.

Bearing count confirmed. Why not go with the all metal bearings for the clutch? Same price.
