you know what rocco. Screw RCDAD. You try and help the guy out with the mistakes you have made in the past and save him money but he just completly looks down upon it. If he doesnt want the advice from somebody who already has experience from the road he's about to go down then let him spend 3 times the money to learn what you already told him. Forget this guy. Some people just cant be helped

I can definitely say that Tex is an amazing asset to this forum, he goes out of his way to meet and greet new people, help with their setups etc.

I understand....But it should be obvious by now that when RCdad asks for advise, he doesnt take it. Same shit happened with the thread about him buying an engine. You know now that your advise and recommendations mean nothing to him. Help someone that wants an honest opinion.

Well you heard him rocco. Dont talk to him anymore. He said that himself so we'll see how long before he enjoys yacking with himself on the internet.

That is not true! You guys recommended the JR8800 steering servo and I ran out and bought it. The only reason I'm getting a Wasp .28 is because it's in the Savage I just got. So I have to figure out how to deal with what I have.
Anyway, I see whoever at the track.

Well that pretty changes the whole tone of this thread! If it happens to come with a savage you are buying it's much different than saying you're going to order a brand new one. Should have mention it earlier. If there's a fix for it to help it run better/longer, then go for it. I take it you're gonna be toting around 2 savages? You're 1/2way to where tbill is. I think he has 4.

Why didnt you say that you already had one man??? I wouldnt of tried so hard to streer you from it.
I in noway want to see you leave the board (again) but if you feel thats the way to solve this then i wont stop you.
Im sorry you feel tex is the only person here that honestly trys to help, there are alot of great locals on this board and by leaving again your cutting yourself off from those who can help you.

FWIW---I know what all of you are saying.
I was also told to stay away from the Wasp .28
I did get one cheap while my old motor was being repaired.
I couldn't complain for what I apid for it.
I would not go out an buy this motor new.
The Wasp--I do like it for it's power and punch.
The downside---it is a pain to keep it tuned
So RCDada---what is this needle you speak of?
I do have to agree with what all are saying from what I have experienced
in the past month.

RCDad, If you had staited in the first post that you bought a new savage and it came with a wasp .28 you were going to try out everything would have turned out different here.
I really think everything got blown out of proportion here and it was just a big miscommunication.....
