You have ZERO invested in this hobby. There is no investment, just COST. None of this stuff is getting more valuable. It's all depreciating assets. My wife told me these where a bad investment, But i did'nt listen.
Oh Well mash: now i will have to wait another ten years to retire.

Including my REVO3.3 w/mods, Supermaxx E-Maxx, TC3, T-Maxx, Losi Stadium Truck, and support tools. Somewhere close to $7,000.00, however I recently sold off the T-maxx, TC-3, and a bunch of MAXX parts including an E-Maxx assembled from what became my Supermaxx Emaxx. So maybe the number comes down $700 or so.
I'm wishing I didn't stop to think about how muhc has been sunk into RC over the past 6-7 years.

It shouldnt matter if you get your money back or not. What should matter is if you feel your time and money was worth it. You have some fun, make some new friends. You can even win some money depending on the races(like Mahomet) or if you place a bet with a friend. Is it enough to brag about? No,maybe enough to pay for the weekend and thats it.
But if your enjoying yourself with friends and other good people(or even your family). Then to me,that is money well spent.

not to mention its a hobby man, everything cost money. if your having fun doing it then thats a good thing. if your worried about how much money you put in it and because of this you are not enjoying it, then you need to go find something else
