I was just out trying to get my 4th tank of break in done and i went through 3 quarters of a tank trying to get it started, finally got it to stay running and the low end his good, when ever it shifts into 2nd it either cuts out or dies. I tried messing with the high speed needle but nothing happens it keeps doing the same thing, this is the 4th 2.5 ive broken in and this one is giving me the most trouble.

If it his cutting out at high speeds, richen up the HSN.

i did, i think it might just be because its the first time the motor has been at full throttle and the p/s just need to get worn together or whatever you wanna call it but im not sure.

the tune is just way off. On the very first tank of fuel on my curent 2.5r i was hitting 2nd gear no problem. Hard to diagnose a problem like that over the internet tho.

yeah if it still giving me a hard time on saturday ill take a video of it, but i did get thru my fourth tank so if i can just get thru break in it should loosen up a bit and i can fine tune it. and i lost a break pad already so i just decided to call it a day

Sounds like it may me rich on the LSN...hard to say w/o seeing/ hearing it.
It shouldn't go through that much fuel trying to start and not staying running.

ive had simular problems where u nail it and then al of a sudden it cuts out and dies...i got rid of that problem now i just cant keep it running long..
looking for something new to buy.... like a lst2 or something let me know what u got..................

yeah, i think it was my plug, i put a newer one in there and it stayed running, then i put the old one in there and it was fine so IDK what it was, ill mess around with it saturday when it is supposed to be warmer.

If it is dieing at full throttle you are running too lean most likely...

ive tried to richen everything up, im at a total loss, maybe it was just a little cold yesterday ill try when it is warmer tomorrow.
