Hey have you heard? Winchester Repeating Arms company just dropped its line of Model 1300 shotguns, Model 70 rifles, and (yes get this) thier Model 94 lever guns. Thier parent company, HN Herstal saw these models as losers, and now they are gone.

I took my first deer with a Model 94 in 30-30. While a lot of non hunters or non guners won't get it this is truly the end of an era. Enough to make a person sad. Anyway, here's to hoping someone picks up the cancelled production of these fine hunting weapons. Later
