wow... didnt mean to start the revo-savage controversy....thanks for the info michowski.. sorry for the beating you took to give it to me. I do like the revo alot, but when im racen with matt(aka thrasher) im actually a little faster and consistant with the savage and able to keep up with him. Maybe moore practice and a change to my JR transmiter will change that. So for now I think Ill run the savage. I can run over any revos in my way..
And one last question, who lines your truck up on the start line and fuels your car if needed? most my friends wouldnt come out and if they did they would probable short me fuel purposly or try to screw me up somehow. Especially if their racen too...
Hey Matt... Ill pit for you if needed...he he

My Savage has 125cc ofna tank I think I'll be cutting it pretty close I may have to re-fuel once...

tony, you put a different tank on the Savy than stock?

The Ofna tanks regularily used for supermaxxs are 125cc. I use a 135cc 9.5 tank on my LRM.

Yes I did I had an air leak that I could not find I think it was in the primer, but when I installed the new ofna tank, I had to go from a 160cc to a 125cc but since I replaced the tank the trunk run strong from start to finish, and it took care of the 1/2 tank self leaning problem. I gives me less run, but it's worth it. You saw it on the hill, it runs awesome...

Just an FYI another fix to the savage lean problem. Run the 25 primerless tank and get a airplane header tank (2 ounce). The header tank has a clunk in it, so even when you flip over the engine is still getting fuel. I have mine mounted on my roll bar. So the pressure line from exhaust goes into main tank. Then main tank line goes into header, then output of header goes to carb. It works great plus you get extra run time.
