It would be half the driveline parts to fix!
I'm still surprised nobody has said anything electric yet.....or small scale.....but I fully expected all the nitro guys would be the ones to chime in first....or maybe the electric guys all figured there's nothing you can do for $500?

I figured I would just toss out the 1/10th, it's a fun class and yes half the driveline parts to fix. Plus $500 could get you very competative very quick. All you really need is a good used xxx-nt ad2 or an rc10gt. A good motor good tires and your set!
And no electrics unless it's a 1/18th hehe!

I say go 1/10 GT also, you could get a truck, motor, servos for under $500
Not to mention all the guys that run that class are super dope cool.
