naa, just a motor that i am used too, or a pit stop. lol. think i could have still finished 2nd with a pit stop, oh well live and learn, it was still a blast actually being in a spot other than the back.
From speaking with Ryan Lutz, he told me its really not needed. The BCE chassis is nice but its not a must have. The Stock is just fine. I wouldnt go out and buy it just because everybody else is. I mean it my help alittle but it wont be a drastic improvement. The stock chassis works just fine. Also why would you need a new fuel tank?
Joe i see ur point, but u really think lutz would say a kyosho needs non kyosho parts?

He drove Walkers ST-R and didnt see the big difference. He gave me his opinion and said hes not going to get one. From what i can tell from the guys that have spoke highly of the BCE chassis are in fact sponsored by them, aleast some of the guys i know. Im sure its a great chassis but unlike some other cars, its really not that important to upgrade and at $140 for the chassis its not cheap by no means. I thnk back to my T-maxx days and the thousands of cash i spent on that thing to make it the latest and greatest with all the supposedly go-fast goodies, i kick myself in the ass now as i took most of that crap off and used only the minimum needed to make that tank handle somewhat good. I geuss what im trying to say is, save the money and practice, try to be consistent, drive smarter, etc. The ST-R is a top-line car and the stock chassis is proven, and works great. Besides, this aint no TTR where you HAVE to get another chassis.
As for Lutz and his recommendations. You guys have to understand how he is, hes a simple guy. He runs his stuff stock, even when he ran Mugens. Hes sponsored by Panther 100%, he pays nothing, but he only orders a few sets of tires a year when other guys order by the cases. Last year in WV he ran 1 set of tires the whole damn weekend, 1 set of PL Crimes in XTR compound, He pitted out the back of his truck on a cooler at rnd1, he just doesnt go all out like most of us, he just doesnt see the need too.
So take that Bingo back Tex. LOL
