How that GS hold up to bashing??? I had one and it was more delicate that a creme puff... Hopefully yours is better bud...

Hey do you ever take that mud filter off... You know those really restrict air flow... You might get more power at cooler temps if you took it off. Just my .02... I know your a seasoned nitro guy, but i just thought id throw that in...

funny. i just got done taking it off. lol
the place i was breaking it in at was a dusty parking lot and a just mowed, slightly damp ball field. so i didnt want anything sticking/ cloging the filter.
as far as bashing, with the stock motor i was beating on it by hitting a black top curb and pulling back flips off it. the only thing that happened was the motor mount screws came loose.
i had a storm buggy before and beat the living #$%@ out of it and had few probs. ill have to watch this one to see what it does.

I'm glad someone else is having fun with these new Axial motors... Watch ebay for some damn good deals on them. I picked up three .28's for $100 each after running one in my MSRX5T. I couldn't believe the power these things have. Killer motors and they are coming out with tires and pipes here real soon. I'm on the waiting list for the new pipes...
