OK, I got the diff out of the truck, took it apart and there was no oil in it. As soon as I noticed it was stiff i stopped, as far as I can tell all of the gears are good. I oiled it up and it spun fine, aas sso as i put the cover back on it was a little worse, but when I put the case on it, it got really bad. Any ideas?

Can't comment on the fix, but have a question...
The inside of the diff cup was dry-dry, or was there any sign that it once had diff fluid?

There was a little left, but no where near enough to do anything.

replace the diff cup and seals. Also A tip I got from somebody was to tap out the diff cup first for the screws then put it all together. It should seal a lot better after you do this.

Oh see at the track a couple of times I'd hit the brakes too hard, and it'd chip a tooth or two off.

I set my brakes up so they don't lock yet still stop the truck perfectly fine. Diffs last alot longer this way.
Traxxas_Junkee, if your diffs were binding with no oil, then something was wrong. If anything they will be more free flowing with no fluid.

He was talking to me on the phone yesterday and the message I got was that part of the gasket between the ring gear and the case with the spider gears broke in half or something so the ring wasn't sitting right against it, possibly causing a bad mesh.
