I would think it was the other way around.

no way..........250+ is hot for breaking in an engine.......but if its too cold during break in it will screw the motor up.
it should be atleast 200 and under 235

any motor should be 210 minumum for best results. I know a few degree's here or there wont matter but at least 210 for best results. I get mine about 240 when breaking them in. Just making sure they piston and sleeve get the best possible fit they can. Anything over 245 and then I richen it up or take the rag off the head.

these motors dont run that hot. 180-190 tops believe it or not 220 normal running conditions (no sock) is like 290
