Someone read an article on how to paint realfire....turned out nicely Jerry!
I'm sketching RWB/stars themes today also!!

If you think the "True Fire" style on there looks good...you should have seen it on the inside...it was so much better!! It is a very hard style to paint in "reverse" But I still like the way it turned out.
As far as running this body... this one is going "on tour" with Brian from Big Squid. It's one of the promotional bodies sent to us from Parma. But they will definatly get run after a few pics and a few shows.

Yup, it's all freehand stencils... These are the ones I use http://www.cagsol.com/freehandtemplates.htm
For the smaller stuff I use "super shield" and "mini shield" versions. Rembering to "reverse" everything is the hardest part for the Lexan. I can whip a$$ with positive paint, but the negative needs alot more practice. Using waterbased paints also adds to the difficultly of this painting style because you need to slow down and force dry each section you paint.

That's a good start...kinda looks like smoke. I'd suggest getting a couple of good reference photos of real fire, they will help you out alot.
