NO!!! Dont cut them!!!

Dont forget mikes sponsered and doesnt run tires as long as us commoners.... I recommend racers edge foam. Because i need things to last as long as they can

The stocker work fine. I have close to 2.5 gallons on my MT crimes and they are holding up great. The wear on the crimes is incredible, they last a long time. I didnt really like the bowties MT but they are great also. Just use the stock foams or if ya really want to, get some panther white foams. Walker told me to run them in the PL tires.

Mikey is a tester for longitivety on all RC equipment. I dont think anyone puts more gallons on anything than him.

Ohhh god... Now that radical plugs start! LOL!j/k!

I didn't say that CANT balloon t.t. I found i have better steering with the firmer foams... But to each his own. Both mike and JT are much more accomplished than I so listen to them.

yeah right now my front tires are balloning....i need some new center diff oil.

mikey traxxas says the center diff comes with 100,000 diff oil weight, and my front tires are baloonig like crazy, should i go with 300,000 or what should I go with???

no doubt u will get more steering with a harder foam, but you are gonna sacrifice bump handling as well its all give and take. My truggy has more steering than my buggy! what the hell is that lol

i think it says 10k not 100,000? that seems a bit extreme I dotn even know if they make 100 000 or 300 000

try 20k or 30k if its ballooning

lol, the stockers are pretty stiff, almost as stiff as the racers edge ones, but i like the tires to be a little more soft to be more forgiving on those ruff tracks. also i think i get more steering with the softer foams, but like you said, to each his own

they say they use 100k and yes they do make 300k

http://www.traxxas.com/products/nitro/re...sories.htm ............on the last link scroll down to the second one (center diff) and read it.

also i put some 30k in there and it still balloned like crazy

Mikey, the center diff in the revo is a whole other animal compare to truggy/buggy diffs. 100K is the low stuff, lol. There's less spider gears in there, so super heavy diff fluid is required to compensate. Same goes for the front and rear diffs too. Main reason why I used to run 30K up front and 10K in the rear. Gotta have the heavy stuff to get any kind of good diff action, lol.

If you're ballooning like crazy, go to heavier stuff, like the 300K and see what happens.
