He still races 1/8th scale buggy and UMT his boss would not allow him to goto the worlds because he saw it as unsafe.

Rocco i never said i didnt like the LSP when u get one that is well setup in ur hands its impressive tons of turning and great rough track. I think the Alum arms are a dum ass idea but thats just me.

Hotbodies would not even sponsor matt gosch, when they went to big races they stopped putting hot bodies down as a chassis and they wouldnt run hot bodies stickers called it a something custom

ok, back to the vids....so these are top pro racing right? So what's the deal with the driving under the guy in the corner and sideswiping him to the pipes? The video shows this happening several times, and the guy going inside doesn't have the pass. He's giving the lead car the bump from the middle of the truck, he doesn't get the pass on the inside. Or is this innocent error, repeatedly? And what makes this move any less hackish than the bumper tag when he can't get past the leader (saw that in there , too).

Still some great driving on how tight they run together without immediately turning it into a major wipeout (like my driving style, eek). I like how the marshalls are spectators with great views, for the most part.

JAKARTA WC UPDATE


In 2003 ROAR agreed to the Jakarta venue for the 2006 IFMAR Off Road Fuel Championships. During the selection discussions there was much concern regarding the physical safety of the racers, the media, and all accompanying individuals. It was agreed that predicting the situation of a specific area of the world three years in advance was just not practical but ROAR's position was expressed at that time and support of the choice would remain contingent upon that concern.

The United States government has since posted a travel advisory concerning US citizens wishing to visit Indonesia. This advisory states that travel to this area of the world should only be made if deemed absolutely necessary. ROAR does not wish to prohibit any entrants from participating or competing in an IFMAR event. These World Championships are a fantastic experience and the Jakarta facility is very worthy of the event. World circumstances beyond our control can, however, dictate caution or concern.

It is with consideration of this travel advisory that ROAR cannot encourage travel to this event but does not prohibit participation by those who wish to attend. To all of those who participate, be safe, good luck, and good racing!

that is just how those guys run together i think, most of them run really tight with each other and if someone thinks they are faster they are gonna bump u. We drive alot cleaner here, just look at the vid from St louis no bumping really at all

the wall on the straight was so cool lol u had to hit it at almost full wood to get over it hahahah we got there on tuesday night and convince sonny o to do a back flip off it, suffice to say he didnt make it

nobody broke on that all week! only thing that happened was by the end of quals they had to fix it cuz from all the noses of the buggys hitting the base it was getting close to being punched through hahahha
