Just got a Jammin X1cr roller for $170. In good condition, needs wheels, engine, electronics. All of which I have right now in spades. I have a Ultra Comp2, so from everything I've read its a good upgrade over the stock stuff. Lots of CF parts on it from what I could see. Also has the 7075 alu chassis.
Think thats a decent deal. What do you think? Worth the buy?

Depending on how serious you want to get, I would definitely get the aluminum center chassis braces.
Other hop ups that I would get would be the aluminum steering plate, aluminum radio and wing posts. Also the big bore shocks are the best shocks around.

I don't plan on much upgrading for now. Though I'm debating on which of my cars to sell off. I can keep them all, but its becoming expensive to keep them all up and running and I don't have alot of use for it.

the FTE doesn't need much, the cr is a different buggy. Think of it as a 7.5 sport vs a Kanai

I just got some high rez pics, and it looks like this is the X1CR Pro kit. 7075 chassis, carbon fibre everywhere. It looks exactly like the pro kit pics onthe OFNA website.
Sweet. $170 for a pro kit thats been slighly used. Can't wait to get it and swap everything over till I can put a decent motor in it.

It has arrived! It already has the 7075 aluminum steering tray, center supports, and a few other things. The Wing posts are plastic, which works because the wing support will give before the shock tower then. The differential all work smoothly, the steering is slop free, and the suspension travel is good. The chassis has less scratches than my Ultra comp 2. And it seems MUCH lighter. I'll have to weigh one, then the other after all is said and done.
I'll have pics up later today.
