LOL! I sent them an email about how I was dissapointed in the Flip Syde cartoon and why, and they liked my idea! Now I am a Hobby Shop owner in the series! Check out the October issue. I asked if David Baker would do a series on Flip entering into the racing scene and showing the achievement and pitfalls and talking about sportsmanship etc. Ahhh my 15 minutes of fame!

also in the Readers Show Offs section, Donovan Lahmann Age 5 from Westmont shows off his Jammin Trug and mentions the great looking track he pulls his fast laps from. Where was that track? Oh ya, Leisure Hours Raceway in Joliet Ill.

Yeah, I saw that 5 yr old too! My boy is four....hmmmm....
The cartoon of me is perfect. I look just like that, except I have hair, no goatee, am thinner, and marginally better looking, but other than that - spittn image.
