dirty tires??

hey does anyone sprat osmething on their tires so that you dont get dirt clumps on the tires?? cuase I know after a few tanks at LHR my tires are dirty and I start to loose traction

Maybe you could try spraying some WD-40 on them.

theres gotta be something that the pros use, cause in pics their tires look really clean while on the track

wd40 would help, the pros dont do anything special, the mud on there gets knocked off on the straight away anyway

I wash mine with simple gren if there is time before the main... I doubt it does much besides giveing me peace of mind that i did all i could

If your treads are not clearing when you run, you prolly have the wrong tire for the condition, true?

not necessarily. Sometimes the dirt is simply too wet to allow the tires to clear very well, meaning it's sticky.

Most of the dirt will clear on a straight with a good stab of throttle.

sometimes tires stay caked no matter how long of a strait or how hard you stab the throttle.
Most of the time it clears though

....and in those conditions I would want a wider spaced lug, or step-pin tread style tire.

it doesn't always clear out no matter what tire you have, just stating experience
