sunday was my first time racing. I had a good time. I just bought an old gs storm 1/8 scale buggya few weeks ago. we practiced thursday night and then I raced sunday. I got 7th in the C main. I have to work on my consistency and i have to setup the buggy and get some swaybars but it was a fun time. the only thing that really bothered me and would turn me away from doing this consistently is how long it takes. I dont understand why that cant do maybe like two or three classes at a time instead of all of them at once. Say onroad racing starts at 10am there done by twelve completely because there wasnt that many classes.
then maybe like offroad 10th scale and monster trucks and truggys run heats then mains till whenever they need
then 1/8 scale buggys after that all together.
then instead of getting to the track at 9 or 10 and not getting home until dark, i could get there early afternoon and get home at dark. does anyone agree?

It's not like that all the time, i think that was the biggest turn out since indoor season.

You'll appreciate the time between heats when something breaks and you have to tear apart your truck and put it back together while you stress about it. Been there, done that.

well 12 hours at the r/c track was a loong day. Id rather loose a half hour inbetween rounds and go home earlyer to be honest but thats just me.

+1, my rear diff stripped and I had enough time to fix it and shim it properly (meaning sit there and have mike czech shim it lol thanks again mike) and not miss a heat.

Nice pics slim. I forgot my camera again lol...

lol, wait until winter hits and indoor season is in full swing. I think there was around 70 entries yesterday. Last winter there were 100+ entries regularly on sundays.

The times an issue with me too. That's why I regularly ran my 3 Quals and bailed during the indoor season.
Mike- You never ran a 60 MPH on road missle, have you? The way you drive, you wouldn't finish a lap!
