Anyone try the Ofna Moldeds yet?
#1
I need new foams. I want to try the ofna molded ones since they're $8 for a 6 pack. Anybody tried them yet?

Also, would a medium compound or a soft compound be better for a set of switch tires for the indoor track? Thanks.

Indoor you run switch 2.0's I assume? Do you think I should use the yellow for some switch 1.0's or the oranges or does it really matter?

What's a softer foam going to do for me that a stiffer foam won't and vica versa?

Any of you 1/8th guys tape the tires so no ballooning?

I run 2.0s...

I think since the 1.0 is a flat carcass tire id stick to the stock foams. With a moulded foam your just going to wear out the centers fast.

A harder foam will pervent sidewall roll...

No, i personally dont tape tires

Stock foams died so really no choice.

I'll see what they got at lh and make my decision then.

you want a round foam, it will give the tire a rounded carcass which is a good thing. Flatter tires break traction much easier. The New proline molded foams are just fine, they fixed all the issues with them.

I never really noticed the foams. I guess I just dont pay any attention to it to be honest. I have seen the ofna ones. They have those for even the Revo size tires too. Was shocked yet pleased to see that. Although I doubt I will go back to them. I like my 40's
