I like the one were the guy did a 360 off a ledge and went completly sideways and managed to save it. Dude either has some good luck on his side or lots of skillz, il let you decide which one he has.

Wicked !!

Nice. Someday.... Some of it was footage from downhill racing out west. I will be doing a tamed down "midwest" version of that racing for the Illini next year. No one else wants to race downhill..... or maybe no one else is dumb enough too..... LoL

do you wear a cup when you do that stuff? lol
09-30-2006, 11:39 AM
LoL. Nope. For a while I was just wearing a regular helmet and gloves. I am in the process of picking up a nice full face and will be getting a full chest protector as well. I will go back to wearing shin guards, and may or may not wear arm guards. The last crash woke me up a bit, and seeing the caliber of riders I will be going against, I know I can't hold back at all because I am worried about injuring myself. It will be suit up and go for it. I can't wait..... huuuuge adrenaline rush. The biggest drop I have done is about 7 feet to flat or about 9 to a hill. In the race series there is a 12 foot drop to a hill so I just can't wait!

LoL.... Kind of I guess. Freeriding is just jumping whatever you can or taking real technical lines for the fun of it so I guess it could be comparable. Some of the downhill courses are races though and your time, top to bottom, is compared among riders. Fastest time wins. Kind of like your monster truck class..... bash your way through the course. Cross country racing would be like ST.... finesse to be fast.
