I seen that he joined where it says newest member. I think this site has got a lot of new members because of LHR.
They were saying all weekend that they dont have a track anymore up there. Kinda tells me that LHR is becoming a major attraction for the area(if not Midwest) if we have guys coming from two states away to race.

Just goes to show. Good track+good people= Star attraction

what type of 17mm adapters do run on your revo? and how do you like them vs. a 23mm?

I have a set of ofna's and a set from the savage X(17mm hex with large flange nuts) I broke 2 stud axles during the classic weekend with the HPI 17mm set up. And I didnt feel like running the ofna 17's. They work fine, but I just never did like those little grub(or set)screws holding in a pin.

Bobbo said for me to get a set of maximizer 17mm adapters. They have a 17mm hex and a large washer. Just use the stock nut to hold it all on.

I like my Dace 23's. Only downside is,if I stay and try to run my truggy(which I should). I would rather have one size for both trucks. Saves money that way because they are both the same hex. As to which one I plan to use? I still have yet to decide. I already have a few sets in 23mm. So I would have to buy all of them over again to work with 17mm. I am leaning more towards 23mm for the truggy. Just not sure when I will get around to that if I do.

You can always just boil/bake/cut the tires off the rims.

Honestly,I am getting tired of that already lol. I know I can do that. And chances are,I might go that route. But then again. Having those sets on hand is a plus for acouple of reasons. If something happens and I have to go from 17-23 again. I have those rims/tires ready. Or if someone is running that size. I can save the day for them. Down side to having both is. Twice the amount of tires to carry around. And twice the price.

I'd rather he uses periods than no punctuation like some people do some people just seem to endlessly ramble on without a stop it makes them seem like they're not breathing like they can say all of that in one really deep breath.Rolleyes Wink lol
