Is the what the EXP means? I thought I saw that on my XS3. But it could mean something different.

most radios have it. dx2 does not. i think the dx3 does tho. not sure.

u want it to be a negative number if u can I usually do about -40 on throttle and -60 on steering

I'm at -60 on throttle and -40 on steering right now. Makes the truck way easier to drive.

I have to disagree, I love mine and think they're pretty smooth, it just takes good throttle control is all... and when you need the power, its there!
I think the right clutch can make a difference on how smooth they are too.
I haven't even adjusted my radio yet, so I might try dialing it down some, maybe I'll get even better Smile

No offense but a motor that requires alotta (i.e. good) throttle control i wouldnt concider smooth engine....
