ok so i got a traxxas 4-tec electric one but i really don't know that much about them so i want to know whats the best kind of motor for it and how much it would cost if u know please tell me

Keep running the trx 2.5 or 3.3. when it goes, use their engine replacement plan. That car is too small for any more motor and the drivetrain is too weak. You will end up having more problems than it is worth if you go to a more powerful motor. (Also more expensive and probably harder to tune.)

Hahaha.... whoops. Anywho.... still a 4-tec. You could run brushless in it, but I would go with a stock motor or a mild mod. Something cheap by reedy or speed gems.

yea ive been having problems with my diff and i have a diifernt motor in it know but i don't know what it is but i bought it from my brother in law, he had it first and then he sold it 2 his cuz then i guess he bought it back and its been sitting in his room for 4 yrs and i bought it so i don't know were the ori motor is...so yea im i s.o.l?

Motors will have nothing to do with the diff. Motors will make a difference as to what pinion you should be running though. For that you really need to know what turn the motor is. Do you have a picture of it??
