There is heat for pit guys and drivers, that's the most important part, being comfortable while your concentrating.
Next time your there, look above the pit area on the track, you'll see massive heaters....
So YES they did think of "some sort of heating"

20 degree air temp and frozen clay had to be a rough condition. I do recall racing on a day where the track surface was 34 and the air/walls were around 42. That was pretty chilly. In fact that day it snowed indoors thru the vents!
Still was better than no racing at all !!!!! It was 100 times better than bashing in snow.
If you really want it indoor and warm, buy a Carpet Knife and head north.

I think you signed up after the whole "please don't talk shit about leisure hours on this forum" stuff went down so I'll tell you now....
We don't talk shit openly about leisure hours on this forum, period... if you have a gripe you take it to the man Bernie himself, in person...
We've already went down this road in the past on this forum and that is the best option ^^^...talking about "what you think could be better" and "what you don't like" here does not solve anything, it just creates a stir......

Um tex. It was never my goal to talk shit about the track,or anyone there for that matter. I only brought up a question about dealing with the cold weather and it went from there. I am a guy that looks at things and wonders if there is a better way to do it. So that is why the oil heater part came out.
But at no time did I nor anyone else I bet intend to talk trash about the track or anyone there on either side of the counter. So I am sorry if you,or anyone else got their nose out of joint because of it.
