Basher revo w/NE BB Kit and OS 21 RG
#1
Just thought I'd share some photo's of my recent update to my revo. I got a NewEra BB kit from my wife for Christmas. Little did I know I should have asked for the header as well, but I made due.

Looks a bit fugly, but it gets the job done. Made the revo fun again.

My FrankenRevo Pics (Dubbed as such in another forum, like my FrankenMaxx):

Enjoy.

I lost a bid war on the trinity pipe... I'll probably stick with a side pipe anyway. It looks a little goofy, but it keeps the heat away from the shock ends and it keeps the rear ended landings from destroying the header/pipe.

I may try to find a header that doesn't require the "rigging" that I have used. To bad none of my LHS's carry much as far as 21 stuff goes. Most carry revo, maxx or savage stuff. Not a lot of odd-ball things that let you get a look at it.

It's got a bunch of other junk on it as well:
RPM Arms
TiNi shock shafts
P2 rockers
645MG steering
S3305 throttle/brake
Airtronics MX-3 xmitter
Novak XXtra 75Mz Synth receiver
Maxx rims (most of them)
OS 21 RG
NewEra BB Kit
HPI Ribbed Savage Pipe
Half of a HPI savage header
Copper 90 street elbow
5/16" cold rolled steel roll bars (bolted to stock roll bar)

I used the OS 21RG as I have two of them on a shelf from a savage and mammoth (and originally a 21 maxx). I was tired of looking at them sit there. Since I have a SH28 in the savage and an Axial 28 in the mammoth, I figured the 21RG would have enough grunt to throw around a revo. I wasn't wrong. Wheelies whenever, sometimes in second gear with 15/36 gearing. It's been a fun few days. Now my OWB is slipping and I have to wait again.

I get made fun of quite a bit for my rigs... but I can make it many weekends with little or no maintenance. Usually (98% of the time) I'm bashing alone at skateparks and a local refinery anyway. It makes me happy.

It's holding up pretty good. I've run about 2 quarts of fuel through it and I've been jumping and general bashing with it at a skatepark. Haven't had any issues yet.

I know it looks bad, but it can take a beating. I haven't done any real maintenance to it in quite a while. The last "maintenance" item I did were ball joints on the push rods and shock ends and a skid plate.
