You can buy them new for $45. I'd put up want ads for cheap rollers. I picked up a rustler roller for $25 and a T2 roller for $25. It seems people would rather get rid of a beat truck then just part it out. I like the stealth style trans better, it's lighter, more compact, stronger to.

traxxas_junkee i think has a rustler tranny.
The worst dirtbiker is always one step ahead of even the best quad rider....
