I just got an 8ight RTR and my losi 427 motor has a spin start, and for some reason the spin start stopped working, so i took it apart, cleaned it and put it back together. Now the spin start 'receptacle' spins when the engine revs up, and its making this wierd noise i haven't heard before. Anyone else have one of these, or what could be wrong?

ok i will take it apart again, but would the one way bearing affect which way the engine spins? There was this one time the engine started backwards and tried to go backwards, then i stopped it and tried it again and it was going the right way again.

thats what happened to me when I got my crt rtr. I got to use the roto start for a grand total of 1 time, before the gears inside the starter wand it self got ground down, try an 18 volt drill and see if that works, then when you get the time/money switch to bump box, your much better off that way
