I think it would be cool to look at the kind of stuff you have, that people might want. And then post a poll for us to vote on what to raffle. Then you will be able to get an idea of interest, and people can have some input for the kind of prize.
Anyway, I will buy another for 10 bucks, why not?

A suggestion for a raffle. Homer does this.

He puts numbers 00-99, and you buy a number. Once all numbers are filled, he uses the last 2 numbers from the lottery pick 3 of the night all tickets are sold. Say the lotto comes in at 731, number 31 wins.

Having 100 spaces to fill can be advantageous and also have disadvantages. The disadvantages are it can take longer to fill, and your chances are 1 in a 100. The advantage is you dont have to worry about raffle tickets, you can sell them cheaper so people can buy more.

Its just something to think about. Also as a raffle idea you can sell a number for $5, and raffle offa $450 credit towards you buying whatever they want. and you still make $50.

Why not sell JUST 40. Then you don't have to worry about the overage payout (if that's what you'd do), and guys who want better odds know them going in? Just asking.

That is what I was thinking. Set an exact number that way you know the exact odds. If more people want to buy, then start another raffle....

In Georges way every raffle needs 100 tickets...you adjust the ticket value to the prize.

100 at $4 versus 40 at $10.

I kinda like the Lotto Idea, but that requires that you are able to sell 100 tickets. It's a good idea if you're doing it over a forum, but if you're doing it at LH then its easier to just pull a name/number. If its through Chitown then I'd say the lotto would be fairest because then we can insure its not rigged. (not that you'd do something like that, but you never know)

I might do that when I get the mini quake in the mail (it's just a waiting game now), it would probably a few dollars a ticket. Once 100 are sold then I could use the Lotto to figure it out. And especially if there are cheap tickets then its more likely to sell more. Maybe like 2-3 bucks a ticket, although then there is a less likely chance that it will sell.

I'd be in for a Savage X, I bet it would be a hella fun Basher.

Trust me,with all the stuff slow orders. He could make a small killing off us here. But its very cool what he does and he is nice enough to put up with puds like myself.

The lotto idea is nice. But 100 I think is alittle to large. But who knows,if he were to set something up with the track, and the track numbers continue to be what they have been the past 2 weeks. He could pull it off. But then again, people are not going to want to wait till monday for the pick 3 to be pulled(dont think they do it on sunday's) so one of those bingo rollers would be a better idea. Toss in all the tickets and let that baby spin then reach in and pull out a number or a couple of ping pong balls. 0-9 but double. Pull once for the first number, pull again for the second or the other way around, and there is your winning number.

Give out 1 item,or a choice of 2 or more items all priced the same. Or to make LH happy, take the money made and get a gift card to the store once and awhile.

And Bobbo runs his revo in the truggy class most of the time.

Shouldnt be that hard to find one. Hell, hit up any retirement home,I am sure they will know where to find one!

And the monday this is because not everyone lives up here. Not everyone goes to this site. So unless slow has the winners phone number. They wont know.
