Tex Wrote:I was marshalling your main last weekend inferno st and I noticed what you do that cause you to spin out all the time.
you don't set up and slow down for the turn. you try to go as fast as possible from corner to corner and worry about the turn once you get there.
To be fast you have to be smooth.
You need to slow down and prepare for the turn before you get there, not in the middle of the turn.
i know that thing had no brakes.

With 500k in the center, you might as well take out the who thing and run it normal! LOL. Alot of guys have been running that for a long time. Because they dont like the front wheels to 'diff out'. But that stuff is so thick. I dont see how that would be any different from running without the center diff.
I plan to try all of that once I get a new 3.3 in a few months.

I never had the traxxas version. I ran the ballistic batteries extended chassis on the Revo and noticed a huge difference in handling on the track. Seemed the Revo handed jumps and rutts better. I even thought mid air correctons were easier with the Revo. Wheelied less (running a tm) but I also added 2 oz of weight to the frt end to help it stay planted during cornering.

i let mx kevin drive it in practice and he told me there was hardly any brake so i tightened the brake knob 3 turns and i was spinning out going into the turn off the backstretch. so i loosened it again for the main. they hardly worked. also about halway through the main the exaust line ripped and the silicone exaust thing split. when the race was done that thing was HOT

no wonder why your selling it
Even if you don't have brakes you can get off the gas earlier and set up for the turn...
I don't use brakes for 75% of leisures track...especially the sweeper coming off the back straight....I let off the gas 75% of the way down the straight and just hit the turn, never touching the brakes.

I let the front tire scrub do the braking for me. If you don't know what tire scrub is it's when the front tire is turned but your still going somewhat straight.
