It's better than a stick in the eye but you're still a customer and not a real team member. It's the equivelant of being a "Factory Supported" racer in MX but not good enough to be a "Team Rider" with everything free, a paycheck and incentive.

I had some full ride deals and some %50 deals when I raced Revo. It wasn't worth it so I dropped the vehicle.

Sadly, the industry doesn't have much regard for us here in the midwest. And since none of the midwest drivers placed higher than the D-mains at the Pro Series finals I don't see this changing anytime soon.

Just imo, I woudn't care if I'm fully sponsored, 50%, or 15% for that matter. If you're sponsored you know that you are a good driver, one good enough to be recognized by companies for it.

Tex, the point is to have fun with it. I don't need the fanciest rig. All I want is a reliable rig that can take a beating and handle pretty well. I want to go with a 1/8 buggy...I am still researching things and have yet to get out to a track. I want to check some things out on Sunday. My budget may restrict me to a 1/10 stadium truck, but we will see. Too soon to tell yet.

I just dont understand the constant bashing of the guys from the Midwest. You make it sound like there isnt a guy around here that can tell his asshole from a hole in the ground. The Midwest is probably the strongest division aside from the West coast. Problem is you get guys out on the east coast and places like that where there really is no talent and a guy like say sonny O would look like Pavidas so alotta companies will pic those guys up at 100%. In the Midwest there is competition, almosst too much, there really are no guys that stand alone in an amain around here. Dont be bitter.....

He didn't say that and he didn't attack you personally. How does what he say affect what you do and how you drive in the hobby?? Use it as motivation to set yourself further apart from the rest then. It is just his opinion and he is entitled to it just like everyone else. Some people may not like him for their own reasons but it doesn't make it right to jump on him the second he says something.

That is absolutely not what I am saying. People jump on each other on here all the time and are told to lay off or whatever. I just don't see why it is different with Bruce because some people don't like him. I guarantee that you wouldn't want to state your opinion and have everyone jump down your back right away. I just think that everyone seems to bend the limits when dealing with some people. Bruce just happens to be the one right now.
