The wheel on the box wont even come close to hitting the flywheel.

I've heard of guys shimming the starter box motor up so the wheel extneds out further...but I've never had an 8ight sooo...maybe I'm missing something.

What is the dia. of the RTR flywheel??

Im not sure i will have to check.
you can take the wheel out of the box.And push it tight to the chassis .
And it still dont hit the flywheel

Sounds like you need to bevel the chassis, what you do is take a file and make a 45* cut in the flywheel opening at the 2 far opposite ends.

I have a problem with my starter box wheel being to high, i cant push the car straight down, I have to push down and lean it away from me for it to start.

thats the only negative

Most RTR's have taller motor mounts to make room for the starter stuff on the back of the motor. Could this be the problem. Id check to see if RTR and kit use the same mounts...

i had to really file my chassis, and then i found that the ofna one everyone else is using (10245) doesn't work, so i got a super starter king and have no trouble what so ever. i'll post pics tonight if i remember

oh yeah, when you get the new mount you might have to drill out the screws in the old one, because i think they might locktight those, and you obviously will need to buy a backplate for the motor because the starter backplate hits with the kit motor mount, thats why the rtr one is taller.
