Dude.... leave them off for now. They will get ruined during the winter and look terrible the rest of the year. Keep the ones on there, and get a second set of tires for the new wheels. That way you have summer and winter sets.

nothing worse than stuntin like ya daddy with a set of dirty D's!  With all the harsh chem il uses to salt the roads and the MASS amounts they use your best interest would be to get a nice set of tires (slowrevo)for those rims and use them for summer use only.Otherwise you run the risk of the protective coating on the rims being eaten away in about a year.

Exactly. (And I was just curious what they ran you.) Pick up a set of BFGoodrich G-Force KDW's for the summer and keep the wheels on that you have now for winter.

I really would have left them off until summer. Any reason you went with the small stock sized as opposed to going a bit bigger??

Oh well. You should have told him you would buy the new larger tires that way you have a winter and summer set.

He posted on the Traxxas forum, never said hw he wrecked it on there. My thoughts are pretty much in line with what you posted, as well as some young driver stupidity (well ok, alot of young driver stupidity...)
