I watch that sometimes on Speed. But the hours they have it on are all screwed up so I have to wait for the replay shows when they cut everything out.
That stuff goes on here in the states too. Big on the east coast

Its not just the drivers that are nuts. The people that go out there are nuts too! There are some time trials where people are standing not more then 3 feet away when the car comes flyin past them at 90mph sideways.
I do have to say that I dont think I could ever go and watch a event. Seeing a car pass by for 3 sec then waiting another 5 minutes or so for the next one. Somewhat boring if you ask me.

I just love watching it cause even when the car breaks(I.E. loses a tire, tire breaks off, tie-rod snapps etc.) they keep going! IMO a lot better to watch than D1 drifting, nascar(who knows what nascar stands for?), and F1. Still a 1/4 mile fan though.
