Why is there no area for the electronics on there like the 8ight b? Does the kit come with one in the box but not installed from the factory? (or little taiwanese kid). lol

You can't put electronics in with the tray installed Tekno EB48.4 HobbyWing XR8 Sanwa M12

I insist on doing it the hard way every time..... and it usually works out in roughly 3 or 4 times the length of time it would take me to remove the tray and install them that way....

OK Dan...On the 8ight I was talking about, there's very small slots that specific servo wires go into (more than 1 hole in the radio box) and you basically have to do it with the tray out...

lol. I try to take the servos out always the short way but i always realize that the wires keep getting pinched. But now that i got my expensive servos i do it the hard way just to be safe.

You're right.... because cramming two servo wires through a hole made to fit 2 1/4 servo wires isn't difficult with the tray on.

I am tempted to pick up a truggy come outdoor. It's going to be either X-5T or 8T. I plan on working my a$$ off now until summer and when summer comes I am going to get a job in the morning and work where I do now at night.

And I am contemplating selling my LSP's to buy a prospec.....

I am going to race next Sunday and see how it handles and how I like it. I was quite happy with it before so I will see. It would be cool if I could take a mugen for a spin for a lap or two during practice, but I wouldn't expect anyone to do that, especially on a race day. I will need to see though. I should definitely be able to sell these for enough to buy the prospec though......

If you wait until after the races are finished I am sure someone would let you drive their truck.

But the track will be closed then. Maybe during the week at a practice or something...??

You can always get a couple laps in if you tell the person in advance. Just fire it up right after the last race and take a few extra laps.

so. Ive narrowed it downto the 8ight-t and mbx5t prospec. I heard that the 8ight-t and b share some of the same parts? if they can ill prolly just get the 8ight-t when i save up enough money.
03-11-2007, 10:10 AM
The same companies cars will always share the same parts. Just like X-5R shares some parts with the X-5T.
