Does anyone have a old Novak ESC(410 series) that they still use with newer electronics?
I have a old Novak HPC that I was using with a real old airtronics radio. Everthing worked fine. I understand the old airtronics receivers pin polarities are different than the current receivers. I would change the pins on newly manufactured servos and plug it into the old receiver. It would work for a couple of seconds than the servo blows. I figured it is the receiver blowing the servo.
Next, I replaced the old airtronics reciever with a new spektrum receiver. I plugged in a working JR 590 servo and the Old novak ESC into the spektrum receiver. I turned everything on the throttle worked fine and the servo would not operate. I plugged the servo into another receiver and it no longer works.
Can a speed control Blow a servo? Does anyone know if the old speed controls still be used with new radio equipment?
Thanks
