Hello, i am regretably selling my 1997 Honda CR 250. The bike is pretty much in showroom condition, (i am anal about maintaining all of my bikes) Bike was washed and detailed after every ride, also clutch oil and air filter changed after every ride. Has several thousand in aftermarket....Heres the list.....
-Excel Rims/Talon Hubs/Spline Drive Spoke nipples
-FMF fatty pipe
-FMF power core 2 silencer
-UFO plastics
-One industries Graphics
-One industries gripper seat cover
-Billet Ignition cover
-RK Chain
-Pirelli tires
-2001 Mikuni Carb (Stock Keihin killed power)
-Oversized bars
-Emig Racing Triple Clamp
-Weiss Re-valved suspension
-Wiseco piston
-Polished Frame
-Billet Throttle Tube
Im sure i forgot some things, but as you can see this bike has the best of everything, and is 100% race ready!
I am looking to get $2,600 OBO for it.
Will consider partial trades for: Mugen Truggy, or High end Mountain bikes, Specialized, Trek, etc.
Thanks for looking,
Jon

Dude, first post says 97 CR250 as in 250cc two stroke premix needed. Looks to be in great shape. Most racers will do 4-8 hours a month on a bike if that helps you. Ive raced 3 day weekend races and would go threw 5 gallons.
Honda dirt bikes are known for their reliability. Lots of upgrades. The wheel sets alone were over a grand.

Thanks Kevin, yeah this bike has little run time.
It is basically a "shelf queen" i raced it 2 Arenacross weekends per year for the past 3 years.

PM sent. The downside is that I can't transport it and would always be relying on my buddy for rides to the track..... hmmmmm

Replied. Its allright, going to a track alone isnt fun anyways....if your with your buddies you can push each other to ride better.
