Its nothing special, no 65" plasma display here.
But I was walking through circuit city and had to double blink when I passed a 52" tv with a $399 pricetag. Blinking twice I had to think about it. It was open box, what was wrong with it?
After about 3 minutes I finally saw it. There was a scratch on the protective screen cover (exactly what its there for) So I talked to the rep, then called the MFG, turns out its only $100 to replace the screen.
So after a bit of thinking I put the plastic on the table(no payment and no interest for 18 months):joy:
Its a CRT, HDTV. 52" no HDMI but I decided I could deal with DVI and component inputs instead. Nothing else I own is HDMI and I probably won't be buying more HD equipment for a long while. And at $400 there wasn't anything in that size range that could display 720p/1080i.
They deliver it on Wednesday, but this is a promo pic of it.
