HAGASAN Wrote:Oval racing is big, lots of racers do it. Tony Stewart races oval RC too. This is a great move for LH, this way the indoor track gets good racing for the summertime. GQ runs oval every once in awhile too.
Tony owns his own rc car company.....Custom Works, they make all the flat track shizzle, he is into it man, he knows his shyt as well, I hung out with him and Kid Rock one day in Paducah. Ky. Tony and I talked RC......he was close friends with the recording artist I was touring with, hes a pretty cool guy .
I would like to try oval, 10th scale GT.............they run that around here, thats like the only track nearby, it has a tiny off road in the infield
HAGASAN Wrote:ah, Ok Bernie, thought it was dirt oval with the tricked out GT's. Too bad for them then.
Tony bought out Custom Works and helped it take off even better than before! He's fast on the dirt ovals too! There is Monee Raceway, one in Jacksonville, on and on, look in the track section on dirtoval.com, you can always find something for sale there if ya want to get into dirtoval! Your down soth a ways aren't ya?

yeah bro, IM like 60 miles west of JAcksonville, I like the gt oval class, it sure is fast............they have a oval flat track in Ripley, Il as well, thats like the closest to me, thats the one that has a small offroad in the midfield of oval
I don't know how it became dirt oval. On our website it clearly said asphalt oval racing. Hope you will still come out to race. Friday night will be oval racing only. Thanks
