yes u can, the clutch doesnt have much to do with it, the screws go in alot faster with the drill and with the tight fit b/w the machine screws and the plastic it generates alot of heat (ud be surprised how hot the threads get) and this softens the plastic. If u do a lot of wrenching ur stuff will strip alot sooner

People on the grid are raving about the Hitachi branded cordless screwdriver, it's like $70 though....kinda pricy IMO.
