My buggy exploded!

And I need a better camera.

Dirty bastard has been needing a rebuild for some time. Ordered about 1,000 grade 12.9 screws from McMasterCarr's website in varying lengths and types. If you are curious you can find them here. They have just about everything, so much so that the site can be confusing for some. http://www.mcmaster.com/

Didn't have time to clean it like i wanted so instead i just disassembled it. I'll clean it in a day or two and get parts ordered for worn out stuff.

Had it at the Huntley track a bit ago, then had other cars I was running. The huntley track was VERY dusty (still being worked on as we speak anyways). Dust was so bad that if the car was moving away from you it was impossible to see through the cloud of dust kicked up by the tires. It got everywhere.

But its time to rebuild it anyways. New fastners, new fuel tank, new front bulkhead(screw holes are work out). New bearings. The rear center CVD has too much slop and needs to be replaced. Some of the hinge pins are bent (not bad, very slight)

It was just time for a rebuild.

it's generally more money up front to go with McMaster Carr but in the long run it saves you tons of money.

That's one hell of a small parts kit. Never need to worry about screws again though.

If you order them in bulk you'll always have the screw you need. Which is a good thing.
