It's just under $200 retail so I have to see what I'd get for an employee discount on it. Best part is that this company has several other B-Body's on the market in the same scale too!

Pretty cool. I was never really a fan of the Petty's though. Would be awesome if it was an Earhnhardt Sr. version.

When Nascar still had some Stock CAR in it
07-10-2007, 01:06 PM
Kind of off topic, but I was watching some nascar road racing on TV a couple weeks ago, and I noticed they all had some decent sized wings on the back. I figured it was just for the road racing stuff, then the other day I seen some oval racing, and they all had the wings on again... when did this come about?
SOLD: BCE Pro X1-CRT Truggy, Dace Predator/Unlimited Engineering towered VBS Supermaxx

That's the new "Car of Tomorrow" and there's alot of NA$CAR fans who hate the wings as well as what else has been done to the cars. There have also been problems drivers feet being burned by the exhaust heat, the foam padding built into the "doors" had been catching fire from same exhaust problem, possibilty of the front wind splitters slicing tires on the car infront of them.

IMO the "COT" looks really stupid the wing to me looks a little rice and the front just looks dumb. there was nothing wrong with the cars from last season.....

mikeh Wrote:Cool! What scale is it? 1/32 or 1/24? It's a 1/32 set, but the track can run 1/24 scale too! I put the track on Lay-a-way tonight too. I've also been thinking about it, I have a few of AMT/ERTL's '88 Dodge Daytona Shelby model kits in 1/25 scale. I may have to see what chassis is close to that body in wheelbase

The Cubs are actually doing good this year. I will admit it, the Sox suck, they had 2-3 good years now they are back to the same old sh*&. To be honest with you I would like to see the Cubs do good. I don't think it is going to last though, they will make a good run then they will be just back to the same old thing, just like the Sox.
I understand what you mean with "if they had better cars" but I don't really know how much more money they would make... I don't think people are just going to stop watching Nascar just because they put a wing on the back of the car and made some other changes? I know most of the drivers don't really like the cars, but I think they would be able to get used to it after awhile, I mean that is their career, to go around in a circle, you would think they could make anything do that.
