hey, i was at the parking lot last night. i remember hearing a guy say he is also using the werks racing 4 shoe clutch. and if who ever you were that uses it. can you tell me what you use to tighten the nut that holds the flywheel in place. im out of ideas. i cant seem to get it tightened enough to hold it securely. it will hold for a while, then loosen up a bit.
thanks in advance

BLUE loctite ! just to clarify. There is nothing on an r/c that need red. Blue will do just fine!

ok, ill take it off and give it a bit of loctite. lets hope it works. that nut coming a tad bit loose is the reason my temps starting going up yesterday. lol i wondered why they went from 175 to 220 without thouching the needles.

ok well, im having way too many problems with this clutch. it works well, but lately it has been the biggest PITA ever! im going back to the 3 shoe setup. whoever is running this clutch, im giving away an extra set of carbon shoes and the buggy/truggy pressure springs for FREE. so take as you will otherwise its in the garbage, like the clutch itself.

nah, im not going to bother with it again. tha adjusting nut gave me problems as well. im going back to a 3 shoe. kierres gonna hook me up with a 3 shoe flywheel, ofna aluminum shoes, ofna gold springs.( basicly an entire clutch) for 20 buck if it works well.
whoever wants those shoes let me know, otherwise their jsut gonna go in the garbage.

For all you guys using this clutch system --- what shoes/springs are you using???
I haven't ventured from carbon shoes/silver spring on my old OFNA 7.......
BTW the adj. nut w/ o-ring REALLY helps
