Stripped Screw
#1
the hexes on the screw holding the clutch bell / gearing on my NTC3 is stripped. I'm seeing 2 options, New Engine, or...what else...If I have to get a new engine im just selling the f*cker as a roller. Basicly im asking for help, and I am desperate for it. I'll even pay someone to help me out.
LSP lots of Khz, Werks .28 8 port.

take a cutoff wheel and make a notch in the head of the screw so you can use a slotted screw driver

I think he's sayin the threads on his shaft are stripped. Can't you buy another shaft? Thats a bad spot to get strripped threads. If I'm wrong than yeah what meat said, cut a slot with a dremel and use a flathead screwdriver to get it out.

I'll have to try the slot...I just got the thing I can't afford to put an engine in it. :|

If the screw is stripped, do what meatwad said. If the crankshaft is stripped, get an extra long screw and see if it catches any threads farther into the crankshaft.
