That's the one I think I'd get. I'd have to hit it up with some bright ass lights in the front too, that would top that body off nicely.

Yeah, the enclosed headlights really lend themselves to LED's. I wish all RC cars had bodies with that attention to detail, specially in the larger scale market.

Firesprink, did you see that OFNA has revised the Ultra GTP? much cleaner layout, but its still using the Ultra chassis so no real rear brace, and it probably has the crappy Ultra differentials front and rear. I wish Hobao would make a rally game car based on the Hyper chassis. Even though the Hyper 1/7 is based on that chassis. I've discovered that the Hypers are MUCH lighter than the Jammin counterparts.

Bah, same as my Hyper 1/7 then.
I'm actually considering selling my Jammin buggy and replacing it with a Hyper buggy. Weight loss alone is a good improvement in acceleration/brake/handling. Not so much top speed, but it'll get to its top speed faster.

Have you taken a look at the TTR ER1? Looks pretty cool but a little pricey.

the TTR one has just about all the same parts as the buggy, the IGT has all the parts from the inferno mp 7.5 sport. I wouldnt hesitate to get that TTR one; if bernie would let me run it in the spec class i woulda got one already

Too expensive, and I'm not sure if its any better than a IGT. For 1/8th scales the IGT is pretty much the king, its got the right price, and good handling. The engine is a weak point.
For the TTR's price I'd rather build a DM-1.

how much more is the TTR than the IGT. I hope u upgraded alot of the stuff on there, maybe it doesnt matter as much running on pavement but the buggy that thing is based off of is god awful just ask meatwad he had its truggy counterpart.

No real need to upgrade the IGT's chassis components. For onroad its not really going to take anywhere near the abuse a buggy would, no jumps just flat land running. The only real weak point in the car is the GXR28 engine, along with the radio and servos. The RTR tires are pretty much 1 time use only though.
Chassis wise its fine for on-road applicatons.

I think rally game would be alot of fun. We could put together a few small bumps coverd in astro turf to make it interesting. No big air, just enough to get outta shape if you arent carefull. Add em into the road course.

Ill try to find out some more stuff about the TTR one, if there is interest in stuff other than the spec class Id like to get in on it. But the simple fact that i cant run a kyosho or any other brand for that matter is keeping me out of it.

Ace Hobby Distributors, Inc.
450$ would be dealer price on this, i wouldnt be surprised to see shops selling them considerably cheaper, it doesnt really say anything about a body so im not sure there. It looks like the shocks and all the other components minus the body mounts are right off the pro kit for the buggy. That might be the fate of my buggy if i cant sell it in the future lol

The MRX4 is a true onroad and running that in a parking lot would be a bad idea. Too fast, not enough ground clearance and very fragile. Its a strictly track car. You are better off with a Rally game car such as a DM-1, Hyper 1/7, IGT, GTP, etc..something based on a 8th scale buggy chassis.
its also possible to use universal body mounts and turn a buggy into a rally game car.
Delta Plastik makes bodies for 8th scale.
