hey, does anyone race electric? I was out at the track saturday, believe it or not, I had fun running. I'm thinking about trying to race nitro (didn't try that) but I had my electric car out and it was fun... I was wondering if anyone else was interested in this? maybe even micro cars?
just asking...

Hey Stratcat:
I was a blast on Saturday with your Motorcycle and Cars. Your Corvette was a good match after the battery started running low. I'm going to try and make it out there on August 18th. I don't know of any commitments yet. I'll PM you when it gets closer to the date. My nitro bike is running ragged for some reason. I will have to problem solve for a few days. May have an air leak somewhere in the engine? Next time I will let you run the Nitro Bike a lot longer to get used to the POWER! What little it has.:racing:

next time hopefully, I'll have a nitro bike. I think I've got my electric sold and I'm going to bring home a nitro...
I'll take you with the 'vette next time, I dropped some more motor in it.. I'll either be screaming fast or shattered into a million pieces

Stratcat--
Tore the bike apart and the flywheel has a brass collet under it. The flywheel is coming loose and not engaging the clutch and the motor is freewheeling. Man the bike sounds awesome that way but won't run properly. I will try and fix it today and possibly will have to order a new flywheel and collet to properly fix. By the way, I may order a new .18 motor to stuff in or an EVO .12. Both produce about the same HP. With the .18 I will have to cut off some cooling fin area for a proper fit.

Chris Arnold on here also raced (not sure if he still does) electrics. He might be able to answer any of your questions.
