Of course a .21 race engine will, but this is a .32! It is not listed but I'd like to see the torque numbers on it because i have a feeling that the good .21 race engine won't hold a candle in that departement just because of the diffrence in the diplacement.. and that good .21 race engine probably won't cost $199... And I doubt anyone witha a MT will mind the extra wheelie popping torque and those are pretty impressive HP numbers ESPECIALLY for the $$. Just my 2 cents.. This as an entry level price range and a good .21 race engine will not be in it. Plus I have a MT so this engine is what I would be looking at not a .21, race or not...
..and 3.6hp and a max RPM of 38000 are good numbers on thier own...
Always a "one up" in the crowd... hehehe.. let me give you some hard earned advice: "THERE IS ALWAYS SOMETHING BETTER.. IF NOT RIGHT NOW.. THEN VERY SOON" so pointing out faults in something good is not ever gonna get you a positive response... it'll just sound like you are trying to piss in somone's cheerios.
Not trying to slam you but just annoys me when ppl only have negative things to say(while I'm saying something negative to you.. heeheh.. I guess i'm not perfect either)..

I was also thinking that it seems like (on paper) that this engine was a good value at $199, but then I don't have anything to compare it against, but 3.6hp is a large number!

That 3.6 hp rating is total BS!!! The sh .28 was rated at 3.5 and extreme rc car dynoed it at like 1.27 i think
Bigger DOESNT mean better ..... (unless were talkin breast implants!!!! WAAAAA HEEEEEE!!!!)

you get what you pay for. sounds like a garbage motor IMO. I don't believe the HP ratings the motor companies give, they are always BS. Personally I would steer away from this motor. Sounds and looks like a taiwanese piece of chit.

I agree with Rocco79, bigger breast implants are better! LMAO!!!!!
As to the motor, I'm inclined to believe the numbers are close to accurate on this one. I just don't think they are necessary for anyone but those bashing all aluminum T-Maxxes etc. and, maybe, some truggy guys.
I'll be interested to see the magazines dyno this thing and then see it in a new Mayhem Truggy.

Yup, from all I've seen and heard, there isn't a .21 in existance that holds a candle to this engine. I hear it even gives a Nova .28 a run for it's money.
It's actually more power than anyone would ever need.

I'm sure it's a powerhouse of a motor, like you said, prolly too much power! I bet faster lap times will be clicked off with a .21 because it's more steady and controlable.

ya well i have the engine and it runs like a striped ass ape. easily blowing the stock engine that comes on a CEN matrix TR away. And yes the horse power is incredible. It can break the tires off the pavement like a knife slicing through butter. So please if you haven't owned the engine yet do not put it down

I'm sure it produces a good amount of power but it's just a tawainese piece of crap made by SH (engines they also makes, Axial, HPI, Sportwerks, Dynamite, and the Mach 427, along with their own line of motors). And Al you could make it fit
