I don't have a computer anymore so I only get to check the site 2-3 times a week.
Roc,
I only modded where modding needed to be done. I simply took out all the BS posts (regardless of who posted them) and left the posts that pertained to the topic. I would expect for you to do the same if it was the other way around.

Ponch Wrote:Stop blaming kids. "Adults" (18+) are the majority on the site, and at least 1/2 the problem makers. I know I ain't said SHIT in this thread except for this post, and maybe a post or two about what it might be/my reaction to Dave's fake post (which was great lol).
Matt,
I just copy-pasted that from RCCA (i think) forums...whoever drafted that wrote it exactly like a Traxxas press release. A good misdirection hoax, for sure.
Back to the new E-Maxx.

Had a chance to see it in person at the show. Looked good. Figure a single ESC and single motor would be the faster and more powerful of the two. Guy at the booth agreed, but pointed out that it would high a higher failure rate. Which is true, plenty of people with the cash buy nitro's and haven't a clue how to even get them running or how to maintain them.
Expected price point was said to be about $580 for the Velenion setup. Which is alot, but not out of the range considering top buggies are about that much, and then require running gear.
I would have prefered an E-revo (always wanted one, but just doesn't compare to the durability of a built truggy or buggy).

In summary:
I posted that there was something big coming from Traxxas, and I admit that I anticipated a lot of traxxas bashing.
Then there was a lot of traxxas bashing - a whole lot.
Then it got personal
Then Tex cleaned it up
Then it started again and there was a call for people to stay the hell out of the bashers forum if they did not like Traxxas (and bashers like Traxxas it seems)
Then people complained about the forum being a bunch of whiners
Then it got defensive
Then it died down for lack of interest.
Welcome back!
