It's a 1/5 scale onroad track. Really just a banked paved oval. Nascar style racing. Outdoor
Been there before it's pretty specialized to 1/5 scales. I talked to the owner on my vist there once and he said they will run 1/10's if there is enough of them, but it's been a really long time since there has been enough 1/10's. There has been word of a offroad track near rockford being devoloped but I'm thinking that will be finished next year when it's warmer. If you live near me the only chance is 2 hours away in wisconsin for indoor racing. Leasure is just to far for me to drive.

currently we put all the off road vehicles into the same class. If you had three total racers with infernos we'd make a class just for you.

RC performance and hobby in Madison, electric 1/10 scale. They run buggy and truck classes, 2wd, 4wd, mod, stock, with 3 levels of competitors. I raced my rc10b4 a few times. I'm newb when it comes to racing though. They put me in the stock class after talking with me as I'm very experenced tech wise and can't drive worth a crap so I bombed out. Should have put me in the sportmans class, 8th graders even beat my lap times.:o: Awesome place to go if you haven't been there. Without many tracks around it's hard to lay down some practice time. Very competitive racing, very friendly people to help you get started. I just race when I get bored like the middle of winter.
I used to race:o: I mean crash at AJ's then Intense but that place is now long gone. There is also Trackside, the owners hang out with my rock crawler group very nice guys. Indoor offroad and onroad. If you are heading that far to race from Byron IL, you should also see this site...maybe you already know about it.
